Chas Yen became President of IMSA during the summer of 2008 with a vision of providing, for students, a portal to learn more about SFSU’s ISYS program as well as the surrounding Bay Area’s tech industry.
Originally from Los Angeles, Chas moved to San Francisco to attend SFSU as a Junior transfer. Now in his Senior year, majoring in Business Administration with a double concentration in ISYS and E-Commerce, he is hoping to apply his experience to his vision.
In his first semester at SFSU, Chas participated in an ISYS internship that involved implementing the Salesforce.com Customer Relation Management (CRM) system to a Nonprofit organization here in San Francisco. He has since been involved in multiple other implementations of the Salesforce.com CRM, one recent implementation with SFSU’s Executive MBA program.
Chas is also currently the Operations Coordinator for the Center of Business Solutions, a research and service organization that is part of SFSU. He also moonlights as an individual consultant.
